The results of the survey of relatives of former politicians. The third part

We know that most of the interviewed relatives of former politicians (66.7%) turned to assistance initiatives. This indicates that most of the close Free people need support.

The interviewed relatives of former politicians received the following types of assistance from the initiatives:

Evacuation 18.2%

Financial aid 36.4%

Medical care 27.3%

Psychological 27.3%

But this does not mean that only such types of assistance should be available to relatives of the Free.

Almost half of the respondents (46.7%) noted that there were no difficulties while receiving assistance. But other relatives of former politicians noted problems:

Lack of support program important for relatives 13.3%

Impossibility to implement the aid program in Belarus 13.3%

The program does not fully cover the request 6.7%

Lack of awareness of support programs 13.3%

Foundation/initiative communication problems 6.7%

What help is relevant for relatives of former politicians at the moment?

In the survey, we asked to share suggestions for improving the process of receiving help: what is missing? what can be changed? And here's what we learned:

"Good and quick communication was not enough"

"To tell more about support programs: who and how to contact"
"There was a lack of an up-to-date list of aid funds for political prisoners"

"In general, there is still a lack of a single point of entry to all programs, even despite the appearance of one window. A man is released from prison and it is not clear where to send him so that he receives the full amount of possible help.

There was a case when the program covered a period of 1 year after the release, and during this year you do not know about it and it no longer covers you"

"It is necessary to better convey information to people, why help can be safe and there will be no consequences after it."
