About us
Volnyja is an initiative of adaptation and resocialization assistance for former Belarusian political prisoners. We help former political prisoners to get comprehensive support by connecting people who want to help and those who need support after release from places of restriction of liberty.
Our mission is to help former political prisoners of Belarus to return to a full life in society (in any country).
What are we doing?
We find a mentor for each of the Volnyja who asked for help. The mentor guides the mentee through all stages of adaptation to a new life.
Our mentors receive special training from the initiative so that we can be sure that Volnyja will get the help they need.
