Article and history of detention

Until the events of 2020, Dzianis was engaged in film and video production. In October 2020, he served 14 days in Akrestin under Art. 23.34 AK for allegedly taking an active part in the march in honor of Lukashenka's birthday. He was later convicted under Art. 368 part 1 for a sticker with a caricature of Lukashenka found in the toilet against the background of denunciations by "concerned citizens". He served his sentence from August 8, 2023 to July 29, 2023. at VUAT 9 in Vitebsk, where he was constantly subjected to moral pressure from employees. His family survived several house searches.

After release

After his release, Dzianis went to Poland. Together with his wife and son, Volny is adapting to a new country. Now Denis is looking for a job and dreams of making a good movie, after watching which everyone will forget about their problems for at least an hour. But the main dream is: "Of course, Belarus will become free, and the war in Ukraine will end."
